The City of National City values its community and citizens first and foremost. The Engineering Department’s management team “bridges” the gap between the City Council, upper management, and other departments’ conceptual ideas by making it a reality for public benefit and appreciation. They work diligently within the laws, ordinances, and standards of the City, to provide residential and commercial cliental with expedient, cost-effective, and high quality customer service and product.

Our Administrative Section provides front counter and telephone customer service/assistance to the general public. They handle incoming and outgoing correspondence and administer the department’s business filing system. They also support Engineering Staff with the many clerical aspects of the discipline.
