"NatCity News" E-Newsletter & City Guide
The City of National City E-Newsletter aimed at increasing the methods it uses to engage its residents. As one of the National City City Council’s top priorities, citizen engagement involves more than public participation at meetings and events. The use of technology provides a great number of opportunities to ensure residents have access to a wide range of tools and information in order to participate more fully in city affairs.
The E-Newsletter & City Guide will highlight information on community interests, events, activities as well as update and report on major projects.

Six $1,000 Scholarships Made Possible Through Funds Provided By American Medical Response
City Of National City Offers Six $1,000 Scholarships Made Possible Through Funds Provided By American Medical Response
The City of National City is accepting scholarship applications for high school seniors from Sweetwater High School. Six awards of $1,000 each will be given to the winners, who must attend Fire/EMT or Paramedic training at Southwestern College, San Diego Miramar College, and/or Palomar College. Criteria for selection will be given to 2012 graduates who have demonstrated a commitment to working with the National City community. A contract between the City of National City and American Medical Response provided the funds for this scholarship opportunity. The deadline for applications is May 24, 2012.
