The National City Council/Community Development Commission invites community residents and businesses to the Preliminary Budget presentation on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers located at the Civic Center, 1243 National City Boulevard, National City, California.

The Presentation of the City’s budget will be an overview of the long-range strategic plan, the current organization, and the financial condition of the City for Fiscal Year 2009-2010. It will cover the City’s estimated revenues and expenditures and the impact for our future.

Topics also included in the Preliminary Budget will be redevelopment activities and the allocation of funding for our City’s Capital Improvement Programs.

You are encouraged to attend and be informed regarding the City’s budget for Fiscal Year 2009-2010 involving public safety, image, community engagement and fiscal sustainability.
