It is with a sad heart that we must announce that we are unable to continue to host the Tower of Terror.  The enhanced regulations of the California Fire and Building Codes now require that we install a sophisticated fire alarm and fire sprinkler system in the tower in order to comply with today’s safety standards.  The training tower was built for operational firefighter training and the addition of such a comprehensive system is financially unfeasible and the system would not hold up to the rigorous conditions associated with live fire training.

We are very proud that we have been able to bring this event to our community for the last  10 years and we also want to thank the City Council and our Family here at the City of National City for their partnership and support, this was truly a team effort.
