The American Red Cross has a critical blood shortage this summer and has issued an emergency call for blood and platelet donors to give now and help save patient lives. Right now, donations are being distributed to hospitals faster than donations are coming in, and more donations are needed now to replenish the supply. We have been asked to get the word out to encourage donors to come out this Wednesday, July 26th to donate at MLK. Donors will receive a free entrée from Wahoo's Fish Taco restaurant as a thank you gift. Our goal for the drive is to collect 25 units of blood.
