Coastal Clean Up Day

You're invited to join us Saturday, September 20th from 9am – 12pm as we host a cleanup site for I Love A Clean San Diego’s Coastal Clean Up Day.
The cleanup site is located in National City near the Plaza Bonita Mall, and the cleanup will occur in an area that feeds into the Sweetwater River. Over the past few years, with the help of many volunteers, removed hundreds of pounds of trash that may flow into the Sweetwater River and eventually into the San Diego Bay. Please donate an hour or two (or more) of your morning to help remove and prevent potential pollutants from entering our waters. We will provide gloves, trash bags, water, and snacks for our volunteers the day of the event. Please feel free to bring your own re-usable buckets so we can limit the amount of bags we use. There will also be prizes and gift cards for our most dedicated volunteers!
