Due to the significant rain expected for Thursday, December 13th the City of National City regrettably must cancel the 5th Annual Christmas at Brick Row- Tree Lighting event.
The event was scheduled to include entertainment by musical ensembles from the National School District and Sweetwater High School, various food and craft vendors, and the lighting of the Christmas tree. Special appearances were expected from Santa, Miss National City & her Court along with members of the National City Historical Society dressed in traditional Victorian costumes.
The event will not be rescheduled but the Christmas tree and holiday lights will be on display throughout the season. We invite you to visit National City’s historic district to celebrate the season.
You can still be a part of the National City Christmas spirit by attending the FREE Community Concert Band Holiday Show tonight at the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center beginning at 7pm & stop by the National City Public Library on Thursday, December 20th from 5:30-7:30pm for Family Literacy Night with a special appearance by SANTA!
