: “Salsa Spice” at National City’s Pepper Park, featuring dance instruction by one of the nation’s highly rated salsa dance teams - Pepe Alvarez and Cristina Santana. Santana is a well-known dancer described as one of the top five most talented female dancers on Season 7 of “So You Think You Can Dance.” Alvarez is a professional salsa dancer, who has performed internationally and has taught in Canada, the United States and Mexico. He owns a professional dance company, Master Puppet.

Music will be provided The Manny Cepeda Orchestra and a musical mix of salsa and merengue. Cepeda is a percussionist, composer, singer and arranger. He has performed professionally for more than 50 years, including throughout South America, Africa and Europe.
