NATIONAL CITY CELEBRATES FOURTH OF JULY

WITH ANNUAL CARNIVAL AND FIREWORKS

The City of National City and the National City Host Lions Club will host the annual Fourth of July Carnival at Kimball Park from June 29th – July 4^th. The carnival features games, rides, food and drink items for sale by area non-profit organizations, and various entertainment throughout the week including musical acts and contests. Events throughout the week include the Miss National City Pageant and the South Bay’s only inland fireworks display.

The schedule for the week is as follows:

Friday, June 29^th – 5pm-11pm

Saturday, June 30^th – 1pm-11pm (Miss National City Pageant at 7pm)

Sunday, July 1^st – 1pm-11pm

Monday, July 2^nd – 5pm-11pm

Tuesday, July 3^rd – 5pm-11pm

Wednesday, July 4^th 12 pm-midnight (fireworks at 9pm)

On Saturday evening, 6 young ladies will compete in the Miss National City Scholarship Pageant at 7:00 pm on the Kimball Bowl stage. The winner and her court will represent National City in various civic events throughout the year and be eligible for a scholarship at the end of her reign.

$20 Pay One Price days for discounted rides are on Friday, Monday, Tuesday from 5-10pm or Saturday and Sunday 1-6pm.

Kimball Park is located at the corner of 12^th Street and D Avenue in National City.
