As a non-profit builder of affordable homes, Habitat for Humanity is offering qualified families 3-bedroom condominiums and 3- and 4-bedroom homes in National City. Our homes are sold without interest!

San Diego Habitat For Humanity selects families based on three criteria:

1. Demonstrated need for improved housing: for example, poorly maintained rental unit, overcrowded conditions and/or cost of rent that is over 50% of total gross monthly income.

2. Willingness to partner with SDHFH: Each family must be willing to complete 250 hours of volunteer “sweat equity” per adult applicant, attend homeowner education workshops and be an active member of the homeowners’ association.

3. Ability to pay a monthly mortgage.
