Brownfields Site Proritization Community Workshop

The Brownsfields Assessement Project at San Diego State University (SDSU) welcomes the National City community to a community meeting for a brownfields site prioritization process.
What is a brownfield?
Generally, a brownfield is a piece of land that is abandoned or underused due in part to concerns about potential contamination.
Attendees will be able to:
- Get a better understanding of what brownfields are
- Learn about SDSU's brownfields assesments grants from the US EPA and California DTSC
- Recieve updates on community-identified brownfields sites and the brownfield site inventory
- Participate in the creation of a site prioritization process for enviornmental assessment and reuse planning
Snacks and refrestments will be provided. Coloring stations will be available for children who attend.
