Recycle your Holiday Tree in one of our Parks:

Please remember to remove all lights and ornaments before recycling your tree. No flocked trees.  Christmas trees do not need to be cut down for recycling at drop-off locations.  

Recycle your tree at home:

Residents can recycle Christmas trees by placing them inside your green waste cart on your regular collection day from December 26, 2021 through January 8, 2022. Trees over four feet should be cut in half for collection. TREES ONLY. Christmas trees do not need to be cut down for recycling at drop-off locations.

 Please remember to also recycle:

• Christmas Cards & Wrapping Paper: Recycle as mixed paper in your blue cart.
• Food & Beverage Containers: Recycle glass jars and bottles (all colors), steel, aluminum cans and plastic bottles/containers in your blue cart.
• Cartons: Recycle refrigerated and shelf-stable cartons such as soup, milk, juice, soy and other beverage and food cartons in your blue cart.
• Styrofoam Packaging: Recycle in your blue cart (no packing peanuts).
• Gift & Cardboard Boxes: Flatten boxes and recycle as mixed paper in your blue cart.
