The City of National City is proud to present the first Annual National City Jazz Festival. Saturday, October 17 there will be a concert from 2pm – 6pm at the National City Bayfront located at Pepper Park, South Terminus of Tidelands Avenue. National City’s Mayor, Ron Morrison states, “A traditional jazz festival on the National City Bayfront is a great way to celebrate the recent ‘jazzing up’ we’ve enjoyed in our historic city.”
Admission is free throughout the week courtesy of the National City Chamber, Mitchell Investments and the Hanover Properties Mile of Cars Building. The Bayfront Concert is courtesy of the Unified Port District of San Diego, National City and local Jazz radio station, KSDS Jazz 88.3 FM. Station Manager Mark DeBoskey states, “Jazz 88.3 is proud to be partnering with National City to present a great week of music culminating in a world-class jazz festival. We are proud that, through our combined efforts, music fans from throughout the region will be able to enjoy this free event while celebrating great jazz and the wonderful developments taking place in National City.”

National City Jazz Festival is an alcohol free event. Limited chair seating available on a first come first serve basis. Please bring your picnic blankets and beach chairs for general seating. Pop-up canopies and umbrellas restricted. Food and beverage will available for sale at the event. Parking is free.
