Summer heats up when several artists visit the library to join us for the fourth annual celebration of local artists The Face Behind the Art. This year we will have four celebrated artists visit the library to talk about their lives and their works.

Photographer, painter and activist Cindy Zimmerman will join us on August 19^th. Her works have been exhibited at the Athenaeum Arts Center, Women’s Museum of California and she currently has an exhibit at the Cooler Room of Art Produce Gallery in North Park. Cindy Zimmerman has taught for the National School District.
