Summer heats up when several artists visit the library to join us for the fourth annual celebration of local artists The Face Behind the Art. This year we will have four celebrated artists visit the library to talk about their lives and their works.

Visiting the library on August 12^th at 6 pm visual artist James Watts will discuss his works, his life and his artistic process. Mr. Watts is a noted sculptor and mixed media artist who has worked on noted projects exploring mortality (The Bone Project) and heritage (Kokeshi Dolls). His studio is located in Downtown San Diego.
