Do you have a worn, torn, or faded U.S. flag that’s no longer fit for display? You can soon bring those tattered flags to the National City Public Library from proper disposal. You’ll find an official U.S. Flag Disposal Box near the library entrance to place your flag in. The flags will be retrieved by the San Diego-Imperial Council of the Boy Scouts of America. The American Legion and the Us4Warriors Foundation will perform the actual flag retirement activities.
