The American Red Cross has a critical blood shortage this summer and has issued an emergency call for blood and platelet donors to give now and help save patient lives. Right now, donations are being distributed to hospitals faster than donations are coming in, and more donations are needed to replenish the supply. We have been asked to get the word out to encourage donors to come out this Tuesday, June 18th to donate at MLK Community Center. Our goal for the drive is to collect 25 units of blood.
